Thoughts in the Mind of God
Water is the power, the feminine, the substance, and the source...
Something I said to a friend the other day, that we are “thoughts in the mind of God,” that I now want to take a little further, in case it is helpful…
We are thoughts in the mind of God, but let’s say thoughts that can themselves think... Thoughts that the Mind of God has also given the power of the Mind of God to, rhis power to think... Or better yet, we could say—instead of think—imagine, and images... We are images in the mind of God, images that can imagine...
“Extensions of God” is another way it is sometimes said... Or as is said in the Bible, in multiple different places and ways, old and new, we are created in the Image of God... And so our thinking, our imagining, because it is an extension of God’s thinking, imagining, storytelling, has the same power to create that God’s thoughts, imaginings, stories have...
The only differences being, first, we really are merely thoughts, images, waves even, in an infinity of water—or God’s mind—while God is not ever possibly graspable or containable by any thought or image, neither a thought nor image in God’s mind, nor any thought or image in our own mind, which is always and forever merely a thought in God’s Mind...
Here is also where some of the teachings in the Bible around graven images and idols are pointing to, past surface understandings...
Thus, it is said, in many different ways, Love God before and above all else... Love, desire, seek, serve, kneel before, surrender to... God, or Goddess, above all else... Whatever our changing gender or form or story, until we step beyond all need of gender and form and story...
It is also said that God, Goddess, takes the last step... We take all the others, but when that last step is taken, it is God, fully awakened as Herself, who is taking it... In that moment every step we have ever taken becomes subsumed into and as this One without a second... The one final step, end of endings, and total dissolution of both journey and journeyer... We were always This... And now we Know it...
The second difference is, God never gets lost in Her thoughts, images, stories, or believes She is Her thoughts, images, stories... While we thoughts, images, stories, here in the mind of God—aka us humans who are giving form to these thoughts, images, stories in God’s mind—are pretty much nearly always lost in and identified with our own thoughts, images, stories...
Because we have the same power of thought God has, we can actually also believe we ARE our imaginings, the world, each other, things, other life forms, with all of it now become subject to, as well as resources and food and fuel and slave for, our collective, ruling class, fearful, conflicted and conflicting beliefs... And then further to totally believe that our beliefs are real, and not MERELY beliefs—temporary, ephemeral...
That power of thought, of belief, of imagination, and our getting lost in it, has MADE this human world of today, a world that is now presently, actually and literally destroying itself and much if not most of our living planet Earth as we know it, and with which we have coevolved, since the very dawn of life on this sphere...
Coevolution, with humans as a part of coevolution, literally began this death spiral made of beliefs in separation, with the first beginnings of patriarchy, empire, and male identities of separation... A death spiral that is presently crashing into the “ground,” planet-wide, right now...
Water is the power, the feminine, the substance, and the source, of everything manifestly alive... Of Life Herself...
